Millie Rogers

Millie was born and raised in Newfoundland. She believes that is where her love of the natural world around her began. She grew up in a large family where she was surrounded by all-year snow capped mountains, water and beautiful, restful pine clad hills. Today, Millie lives and works in Oakville, Ontario. Her art education began many years ago and allowed her to express her love for art visually. She attended art school and learned the foundations of art making. She graduated from Sheridan College in Oakville with a Fine Arts Certificate in Art and Design. Here is Millie’s response to her art: “I chase my emotions and my imagination to tell my stories visually. These stories have great meaning to me and it is my wish that you, the viewer, will find meaning and enjoyment in viewing them.”
